Golden Nordic Club's facility, the Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre is one of the hidden gems in the Golden Area.  They have about 30 km of a variety of loops just a few minutes ski from Vagabond Lodge. With all the nice snow we have had in the past few weeks the conditions are already great with the loops all groomed and track-set.  I went for my first ski the other day.  

Just to get you pumped for the Upcoming Ski season, Golden Nordic club has an amazing facility just a few minutes away from Vagabond Lodge here at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. and every year a highlight is their annual Huckleberry Loppet.
