It's been quite a couple days here at Kicking Horse. Blizzard hit yesterday and it is still snowing. About 30cms of fresh powder. Certainly a lot heavier than the last dump we had a couple weeks ago with temperature around Vagabond Lodge hovering around 0C. Roads have been closed off and on all day in both directions. Guests having a blast in the snow. Visibility at the top is nil but once you get off the top you head for some trees and away you go. Regular guests brought all the fixing for a raclette last night and it was fabulous. Cheese was some of the best raclette I have had for a long time. Son Kori took the camera out today for a few shots of what the conditions were like. And they were great.
