On a busy day on the slopes, which really doesn't happen very often, you can find a number of things to do if you don't want to stand in line. One of my favorites is to go snowshoeing. The resort has a designated trail, but in reality you can make your own pretty well anywhere. Just down the road from the Resort is a little recreational area at Cedar Lake. In the summer it is a great cross country mountain biking area and in the winter very popular with cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Fabulous spot. We went recently out our son Shane and his wife Tara and 3 dogs. Everyone had a blast especially the dogs.
