Bear Spotting, Whitewater Rafting, Cross Country Mountain Biking,Canoeing on the Columbia River, Tandem Paragliding,  and Golf, are all available on the doorsteps of Vagabond Lodge. We have seen bears daily on the road between here and Golden. There must be over a dozen hanging out in the area.   And the whitewater rafting has started  on the Kicking Horse River. .  The Moonraker biking trails are just down the road from us and are fabulous.

New Dusting of Snow!!

The weather has changed the last few days with some clouds and a few rain showers and that has meant some snow on the mountains around Golden.  Maybe the signs of things to come. There has been talk of another big snow year!! Reminder of our 10% Early Bird Special.  It ends on Oct. 31st.  Give us a call for details or email us at info@vagabondlodge.ca 
Next weekend is the final weekend for the Gondola and Grizzly Bear Refuge if you are thinking of coming out this way. Hopefully we can make it to the top of the mountain once more. We had a wedding her last week with some really nice folks getting married.  I put together a video of the event.

Wedding at Vagabond Lodge

We have been full all weekend with a Wedding.  Thu and David from Calgary and friends and relatives have been here.  They got married yesterday here at Vagabond Lodge and then went to a great local restaurant Cedar House for their dinner. Great bunch of people.
