No matter what the conditions are like we manage to have some fun at Kicking Horse. We received about 8 cms of snow a couple nights ago and then yesterday the sun came out for a beautiful blue-bird sky day. Except it was super windy at the top. Patrick from Selkirk Sports joined me for a run from the top of T2 but we had a major challenge getting there. The trail was blown-in with snow drifts. Finding the trail at times was difficult. If you stepped off the packed path you could sink up to your armpits in the snow. But the worst was the wind which at times was almost knocking us down in a few places. But we managed to get to the top and had a nice ski down despite the challenges. The snow in a few places was quite wind blown but still fun.
