Yesterday was perfect day at Kicking Horse. With close to 50cms in the past few days of powder, today was blue-bird skies with a nice bite to the air. Temperature around Vagabond Lodge was -10C and a few degrees cooler at the top, which meant that powder was nice and light and fluffy. I made two trips to the top of Terminator which was a challenge. It is good climb of about 30 minutes for me with a few stops in between. I have never done 2 trips to the top in the same day. But just the view was worth it, not withstanding the great powder on the way down. All our guests were raving about the day, and a guest from New Zealand said he may have been his best day ever.
Wow.Here is my video of my trip.
