El Nino is doing its thing here at Kicking Horse. We had another nice dump of snow over the past week with some 36 cms and more is on the way from the sounds of it. We did have some rain for a little while a few days ago at the base but it didn't last long and really didn't effect things too much. It is still fabulous conditions from top to bottom. For a few days with the snow coming down the visibility of course wasn't very good. But with boot top powder, you really didn't have to worry too much. Just aim the skis downhill and away you go. Yesterday the sun broke through and along with son Kori we ended the day hiking to the top of T1. It was a great way to finish off a fabulous day of skiing. Here are a few photos of our run.
