It is turning out to be a fun finish for the ski season here at Vagabond Lodge at Kicking Horse Resort. It has been a different year for us. We had a lot of snow early in December and all of January. Then it was cold and dry in February and warm in March with not a lot of snow. What is means in order to get some of the nicer snow, you need to work a lot harder. If you like groomed there is no issue. The resort has done a great job of keeping the runs in nice shape. But if you like some softer snow you need to explore. T2 is my favourite run. And it hasn't disappointed me. A few days ago, along with friend Patrick from Selkirk Sports we had a fabulous run with surprisingly new snow. The hike up was one of the most challenging I have had to do but well worth it.
Vagabond is closed now until the start of the summer season the end of May. We are taking bookings for next winter and if you want to take advantage of our early bird discount, give us a call 250 344 2622 or email email@example.com. Enjoy the video.
