It was a amazing start to the season this past weekend. We had our earliest opening ever on November 28/29th and the resort didn't know what hit it. With over 270 cms of snow already at the top and cold temperatures Saturday the place was jammed.
The conditions are good right from top to bottom so the gondola is the place to be with long runs(4 thousand feet) and you can pick any run. I got out for just 1 run on the Saturday(waiting for the lift line to get shorter) and then yesterday I went up for most of the afternoon including stopping into the Eagle's Eye Restaurant at the top of the mountain for a beer with a group of friends. What a great place to finish off the day. The photos are from Saturday.
And this is just the beginning. T2(my favourite) as well as Terminator and Super Bowl and Whitewall are still not open but hopefully this coming weekend. So still lots of untracked terrain to come.
