One my way up to top of Terminator for my final run. Almost Knee deep powder. Very Sweet.
Today was the best skiing of the season so far. We had about 20 cms over the past 48 hours and the temperature warmed up to about -8C which is perfect. And nobody on the slopes. The snow was the champagne powder Kicking Horse is known for. I made 3 runs in the afternoon. The first was down into "Bowl Over" which is to the left of the Gondola and then into one of my favourite runs called "double header." Very nice from top to bottom. Then I went into Feuz Bowl which involves taking the Stairway to Heaven Chair. I had no problem finding boot top untracked powder. And my last run was to hike to the top of Terminator Ridge(about 30 minutes climb) and then skied almost knee deep powder into "Super Bowl" and then down Terminator run. Great snow, great skiing. I love January skiing. We have rooms available so give us a all 250 344 2622 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
