A sweet day at Kicking Horse. After a drought we finally got some fresh snow. We received about 24 cms of snow over a couple days at the top. The bottom is still sketchy and we had some rain but nice snow on most of the hill. And when you have 4 thousand vertical, it is very unlikely this time of the year, the snow will be the same from top to bottom. Today T2 was open for the first time since the snow fell as they have to make sure all the avalanche control is done first. I went with a friend Richard Barker and two of our guests from Vermont Mark Brooks and John Collins. It was the first time to T2 and it was a great way to finish off their trip. Fabulous boot top powder with sunny skies. It doesn't get much better.
